Smarties Big Flavas

Smarties big flavas by Nestle described as milk chocolate in fruit and original flavour crisp sugar shell. They are fairly new to the sweetie market i first saw then in July.

The packaging is nice and looks quite appealing, i bought them at Sainsbury's in Clapham Junction for 35p

The smarties are large and thick with chocolate, the coating is now flavoured with fruit. I ate the orange one first and wasn't disappointed tasted of tangy oranges, and the chocolate was nice the label states 66% chocolate, a nice taste overall. The other flavours i didn't like, Maybe it is just too fake tasting for my pallet but the flavourings used are just too strong, the blue one is meant to be blueberry, and bares no relation to blueberry, the green which i think is lime, was more like some pine cleaning fluid. They are quite calorific just 4 of them is almost 50 calories, very dissatisfied i won't be buying these again, I'll stick to the regular smarties.

Cadbury's Almond and Honey

Cadbury's Dairy Milk Almond and Honey comes in a the 200g size only at the moment, I managed to spot them in Sainsbury's Tottenham Court road £1.30.

The honey seems to be a crunchy nougat in small clusters scattered throughout the chocolate, the almond is also in very small pieces i could hardly taste them. I did enjoy this chocolate the flavours work well together hopefully it will be available in the standard bar size, so you can purchase them in local sweet shops. The packet states 3% Honey, 4% almonds, 7% Nougat

Chewits Xtremely HOT Lime

I found these Chewits in the local sweet shop today, I must say i was plesantly surprised they taste a bit like lime pickle with pepper, After about the 3rd one the heat starts to build up and a tingly mouth and throat sensation occurs! I think Leaf are following on from the Xtremely Sour lime ones that came out a few months ago, they have the same packaging with only 6 chews and slightly larger than the standard chewits you get. You can order them from A Quarter Of... If your local shop doesn't have them.
